March 2007 - Kayumanis Group is delighted to announce the transfer of Executive Chef I Made Budartha (Denny) from Kayumanis Ubud to Kayumanis Nusa Dua. After almost 4 years mesmerizing guests with his delectable Thai dishes at Kayumanis Ubud, Chef Denny has been called upon to channel his culinary talents and take over the responsibility of Tetaring Restaurant.
A seasoned professional, Chef Denny’s previous experiences include 8 years in the prestigious Aman Resorts and diligently worked his up way up by fine-tuning his skills in classic Western cuisine. In 2003, he joined Kayumanis Ubud’s opening team to develop innovative culinary concepts. He has also been a significant force in drawing attention to an evolving breed of Balinese chefs through his dedicated efforts in a series of fine dining events entitled Chef Collaboration Dinners.
Tetaring is a stunning dining environment that aesthetically unites glass and bamboo in an inspiring example of contemporary architecture. Chef Denny is passionate for fresh quality produce, and he will take guests on a journey across South East Asia with an infusion of Western influences. Notable creations include River Prawns Tetaring – steamed river prawns in a tamarind and lemongrass sauce served on a bed of fried water spinach.
Tetaring is open for all day dining, afternoon tea and cocktails. A luscious set Thai fusion menu is now available for lunch and dinner at US$ 35 ++. |
